The real problem
Most teams paste a product page into a chat, ask for ideas and start from zero again tomorrow. Claude does not automatically know your voice, margin constraints, customer objections, inventory position or approval rules.
“The goal is not to let AI run your store. It is to make repetitive decisions easier to inspect, approve and improve.”
The Store Brain loop
The Store Brain gives every workflow the same source of truth. Claude reads the business before it audits, drafts or proposes a change.
Theme · Products · Collections · Inventory · Reviews · Support · Analytics · Brand documents
Brand rules · Product facts · Customer language · CRO standards · Commercial constraints · Safety rules · Decision history
Audit · Evidence · Priorities · Draft · Diff · Owner · Approval · Measurement

Questions
No. Operators can run analysis, planning, QA and reporting workflows in plain English. Theme changes, API access and production automation should still involve someone who understands Shopify permissions and release management.
It can work with a local Shopify theme, Shopify CLI, approved exports, authenticated scripts and supported connectors. The playbook starts with the smallest useful access and keeps write actions gated.
No. The operating method works for standard Shopify and Shopify Plus. Some APIs, permissions and workflows vary by plan and app stack.
Not in the recommended starting setup. The default loop is Read → Draft → Diff → Human approval → Measure. Production writes come only after a workflow is proven and governed.
